Message from Miss Chana
Thank you for your on-going support and understanding during this unique time. I hope everyone is well and keeping safe. I would enjoy seeing your child’s learning at home so please do use Tapestry to upload photos and videos, ‘their work’ your child’s comments, as well as yours.
Please use a variety of websites such as Mini Mash, Bug Club, Phonics Play, staying active at home with Joe Wicks (Youtube), Cosmic Kids Yoga, Oxford Reading Tree, Numbots for home schooling as well as child’s home learning book and pack.
Please email the school for any questions or queries and it will be passed on to me: Dorney School - email@example.com
With this unprecedented circumstance we are facing, I have no doubt that you are doing a fantastic job with your child’s home-schooling :)
I would like to wish you and your family well
Welcome to the Early Years Foundation Stage!
Miss Chana and Mrs Disney welcome you to the Foundation Stage Class Page.
In Foundation Stage, we aim to create a love of learning which will continue to develop as your child moves through Dorney School. Through purposeful play and activities, each unique child will constantly grow and develop into lifelong learners. This is an incredible first year of school for children and we hope to make it a memorable one!
We have so many exciting topics this year that will help them explore, discover and make sense of the world around them. Not to forget some delightful milestones such as their first school Nativity, first school trip, first sports day…and so many more!
Mrs Disney and I are fortunate to be spending the year with these amazing children!
We will keep you posted on information and general news, on this class page.
We look forward to a successful year.
