Respect - Collaborate - Grow
Good morning on our final day at Woodrow!
We had a brilliant third day, full of activities and a special day for two members of class, who had many rounds of Happy Birthday sang to them!! We started the day working in teams to create our rafts for the raft race. We had to use our planning skills to think about which design would help our raft to float before racing them in the pool. We then had another activity before moving on to Drop It Pop It! We had to create a packaging for our water balloon that would stop it from exploding when dropped by the instructors. We also had a lovely visit from Mrs Maguire! We then partied the night away at the disco to celebrate the birthdays in our group in style with cake and party bags (thank you so much to the parents who sent these along!)
We have another morning of activities before making our trip back home later. Please keep an eye on Parentmail for journey updates, as we will be letting you know our arrival time later.
The children have had a very exciting and tiring few days. They have really enjoyed themselves and have some amazing memories from their time away. They have been a credit to the school, and it has been lovely to see them all work together.
